Hey,
Create a feature which automatically orientates models by using the accelerometer data embedded in smart phone photographs.
We currently use a smart phones to capture high resolution models of rock climbing holds, see https://sketchfab.com/twin.climbs/models
Accurately orientating the holds is a challenge, as the cliff face often has a complex geometry with no clear frame of reference.
We've manually been orientating our models using accelerometer data. We use an external app "Levelmon" and manual post processing oreintation in 3DF Zephyr.
If your software could automatically orientate models using the data embedded in photographs that would hugely useful in streamlining our process.
I hope you think this is a useful idea too!
Nick
