Images not being stored after extraction from video - new to 3.5

I had been using 3.302 to successfully extract photos from an mp4 video, and then further process with Zephyr. I recently upgraded to 3.5, and since then I no longer can.
Extraction "appears" to work as before, and when complete the names of the extracted images show up in the window (but not in the directory). According to the log file (example attached)
they have been dumped to disk. However, when I press the "next" button, they disappear from the window, and I can no longer proceed. This is running on the same computer, same directories, and same settings. Any suggestions?

i see only four frames at all, which is very unusual. Is that a very short file by chance? Do you think you can share the file with me so i can try to replicate the problem?

Thanks for the reply. I just extracted fewer images for this final run to make it quicker. Previous runs extracting 49 images took much longer, and I had not kept the log file. I have now tried 3 different mp4 files, all of which used to work with 3.302, and now none of the is working with 3.5. How would you like me to send the mp4 file - it is about 24MB, the other is ~ 40MB.

As an additional test, can you try to select the desktop or the documents folder (no subdirectory) as output directory?

Hi Roberto, just wanted to share what i expirienced with video extraction, i'm only able to dump to Desktop or any Desktop Folder. Dumping dont work on another drive.

Thanks for reporting this. Actually I've just checked and I'm able to dump frames without problems in any folder on my machine. Does it write some error in the log?

Hi Roberto, no errors in the log file, but today i found out why it works sometimes and sometimes not, at least on my machine.
In the menue "Extract frames from video file" when i chose a folder in the output directory it will not dump pics to it,
but if i create a new folder from the "Extract frames from video file/Output directory" then it works. So i have to create a new folder
from inside 3DF Zephyr, then it works for me.

I would like to investigate further on the problem. Can you tell me an example of output path that doesn't work? Like D:\Test? Does it have trailing slashes at the end of the path? Thanks and Best Wishes!

I seem to be having the same problem but am not able to get it to work even when saving to the desktop. Is there any other workarounds that people have found?
