BSOD - Bad Pool Header when launching 3DF Zephyr

    Hi,

I recently installed 3DF Zephyr but am unable to get it to run.

Initially the application launched but reported no CUDA present so I upgraded my nVidia drivers to 391.35 (I have a GTX 980M) but now when I launch the program the machine Blue Screens with a Bad Pool Header error (the BSOD data contains a reference to the file nvlddmkm.sys).

In case it is related I also have DisplayLink 8.4 M2 installed as I have an additional screen connected via a USB port replicator.

Does anyone know how to resolve this?

    Thanks

    Hi ashrid,

bsod are symptoms of either a hardware problem or a very broken windows installation.

    - make sure your windows installation is fine
    - make sure your computer is not overheating and has an appropriate power supply
    - try pinpointing where the hardware problem may be using benchmarking tools

    I hope this helps!
