    Lo-Res on Object File

    Hello,

The meshes look very good within Zephyr, but when I export to an .obj file and import into Tinkercad, the objects are very small with no detail. What do I need to do to export a larger, more detailed object?

    Thank you!

    Hello Dan,

every reconstruction by zephyr is up to an arbitrary scale factor. It may be possible that the scale that tinkercad uses is very different.

If you have zephyr pro/aerial you can use control points to rescale it to a known distance https://www.3dflow.net/technology/do...es-3df-zephyr/

If you are using zephyr lite or free, you will have to do it manually, either:

    - rescale it using the gizmo in Zephyr. Use the quick measurment tool in order to double check that you are (more or less) the correct scale you need

Size:	128.1 KB
ID:	2659

    - rescale it in tinkercad / blender / other external software

Andrea I asked this elsewhere but the thread seems to have disappeared. When I export in .OBJ (3dLite) and into Sketchfab or Unity, the object loses all surface colors. this makes the photorealism power seemingly limited to within 3DF.

am I doing it wrong? or is this intended this way?

        Hi Karl,

as i mentioned on the other thread, check if you are running the latest version.

It is not intended that way, but as i mentioned in the other thread it may have been a bug from 3.700. If this is happening on the latest version, we-d need to investigate.
