    Calibration data download behind firewall

    Hello,

I'm behind a company proxy and firewall and currently not able to download the calibration data from within the software, the connection always fails.
This even after a few attempts with the IT department to open up the rules somewhat.

Is this just a simple http request through a normal port or something different? Can you help, please?

    Thank you.

    Hello Pedro,

you should be able to download the calibration data by simply allowing https connections to 3dflow.net

Can you ask your IT dept which rules did they setup? This way we can troubleshoot what's going wrong on your end

      Hi Andrea,

Speaking to IT they don't think any firewall rules are a problem.

However their feedback is that even though we have setup the software to use our proxy server instead of the system defaults, no traffic is reaching it from 3D Zephyr.

        Hi Pedro,

thank you, i'll investigate it then. Is there any more data you can share about your proxy? I understand it may be sensitive information so simply share what you can (i.e. port, etc)

          Hi Andrea,

The information I have is that it's a squid proxy on its default port and authentication as been set as not required for the machine we're using your software on.
