Wow, that is awesome work! You blew my mind!! Can you also make physical measurements of the cup cakes? I mean like volume of the icing and cake dough, etc?
All reconstructions are initially at an arbitrary scale. You need to bring first the reconstruction into a known scale. Best way to do it is using control points (Zephyr Pro and Zephyr Aerial only) or you can use this trick in Free and Lite (albeit much less accurate): https://www.3dscanninghacks.com/wiki..._Free_And_Lite
Once the reconstruction is scaled, you can use the normal zephyr measurements tool available in Pro and Aerial (including distance, area, volume, etc) or use any other software to measure an exported mesh.
Hi Andrea, Can the scaling be improved by placing a three dimensional physical object with known dimensions in the scene and calibrating scales for each X, Y, Z dimensions?
