Laser data capabilities of Zephyr Aerial

    Hi,

Is it possible to use Zephyr Aerial as a software for processing laser data (without image-based data)? For example,
from terrestrial laser scanner (TLS) data products - is it possible to
calculate heat maps and perform a (relatively simple) surface analysis (e.g. of a scanned object) with the aim to detect areas of interest/anomalies?

    Regards

    hi binarymolly,

yes, both Zephyr Pro and Zephyr Aerial allow you to load external unstrctured data such as laser scans. Certain tools are available only for structured elements in your workspace, so depending on the desired tools some may be available and some may not.

There is a tool for point cloud comparison that can work with structured and/or unstrctured data.

If you can tell us more specifically which type of analysis you need to do, we'll be happy to provide more information. If you have datasets, we can also happily process them for you as a test and provide you a trial key.
