    Rotation problem with model

Hello! I've recently started doing some photogrammetry projects with 3DFZephyr, so I'm pretty new at this.
In some of the projects I keep encountering the problem, that after aligning the photos the model gets rotated
in the wrong angle. For example in my last project I have about 400 photos taken with Phantom 2 of a field and
after aligning the model gets rotated in the X-Z plane instead of the X-Y plane. Is there a solution to this
problem other than manually rotating the model? I would be happy with any help and tips. Thanks!

Hi Geovision - You can set the orientation of the model a couple of ways, one of the fastest is by using the 'Define Up Vector' tool (image attached - also under Tools: https://www.3dflow.net/zephyr-doc/en...Workspace.html) - Or, if you're using 3DF Zephyr Pro/Aerial you can use automatic control points to scale and transform the scene: https://www.3dflow.net/technology/do...es-3df-zephyr/

    Hope this helps a bit!

        Hi daciansolgen,

it's hard to tell without looking at the photos.

        1. make sure you have decomposed all your images into pinhole images https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_SDa2GfFCUg
