CUDA and AMD RX 480

Hi,
I am evaluating the program and my first screen tells me that it cannot fo GPU calculations. Afaik, the latest AMD RX 480 should support this?
Is there something additional I need to install ?

Hello JCC,

zephyr uses CUDA in order to compute parts of the algorithm on the GPU. Unfortunately, CUDA is a technology that is only available on nvidia cards, which means that zephyr too needs an nvidia card to do so.

You can still use zephyr and there is no need for anything else on your part.

It will take just a little longer as zephyr will compute everything on cpu.

(ati supports openCL for similar operations, but in order to support openCL we would have to rewrite all our algorithms, so i don't think that is going to happen anytime soon, sorry )
