Hi CG-Guy - Do you mean input or output?

Input: Pretty much anything if your computer can handle it :-) I feel obliged to mention that resolution does not equate quality, and lighting/consistency between images is far more important.

Output: 32768*32768px - This is not recommended for general use as 32k is an insanely big single image - Much more efficient to process a multi-texture of 8/16k images- Using multi-texture means you can have a TON of resolution with much better performance in most scenarios :-)

It was input - thank you

2nd question is how does it assign multiple textures to the mesh if I choose that option? Does it do a sub material like 3ds max so the mesh is not seperated when processed?

I typically only use 1 4k texture with 1 uv space but my next subject matter is 24ft long and will require multiple uvs and output textures

      Thanks for response

The mesh remains intact and is not subdivided, the UVs are spread across multiple UV tiles following the UDIM Workflow.

Perfect- I've done udims before had like 29 of them on an object
