3DF Zephyr Free Version 6.x not in Windows 7 anymore?

Hello 3DFlow-User,

Is there a way to legally turn off the 3DF Zephyr Free update request?
(Unless you start the program offline) The background is that I am using
version 5.016 and now have to update to 6.x. When starting the program,
an error message "api-ms-win-core-path-l1-1-0.dll was not found" always
appears. After a long research on the net, I came to the conclusion that
it is due to Python 3.9, which no longer runs under Windows 7 (Prof.)

Because of a program I will not switch to Windows 10 and will stick with
version 5.x. Can someone help me please? Thanks!!

Hi ChrischanF,

unfortunately 3DF Zephyr has dropped Windows 7 support for a while, as microsoft has dropped support to Windows 7. It is no longer considered a safe OS so I recommend you updated to a supported OS.

It is unfortunately not possible to use 3DF Zephyr 6.x on windows 7.

Thank you very much for this information. Pity! I know Windows 7 is mega-out,
but so far I've coped with it pretty well. Then I have to work offline with the
5 Series 3DF Zephyr. Unfortunately, then of course the camera data is not
available to me. I have to make the compromise.

A fantastic program!! It's a pleasure to work with.
