    Gap filled after mesh generation

    Hi all,

i am working with Zephyr lite.
Here is an object with a small gap. That gap should be remain, but it is filled during the mesh creation.
The dense cloud looks exact and noiseless for me.
Are there some settings to avoid that filling?

    Thanks in advance.

jupp2000 - Try reducing the percentage of watertightness under the advanced settings in the mesh creation wizard, it looks like the surface is interpolating over the area as though it were filling a hole in the surface of the model.

What is that white point cloud coming from though? If you moved the object, it may be some background "bleeding in" - make sure you mask your images if that's the case

The white portion comes from a piece of paper. It is masked already, especially that gap.
It works, if i set the watertightness to 0, but with a lot of holes of course.
With watertightness >0 it starts to close the gap. Because Zephyr (Lite) has no sculpting tools, it is hard to remove the connected triangles and flatten them.
A partially watertightness for selected triangles only would be great! (I know, watertightness means the complete model, but in some of my cases it would help me)
        Kind regards

Hey jupp2000 - FWIW masking is only used in the camera orientation (first stage of processing) - If you want to use your masks when meshing then you need to head into the custom settings of the mesh creation wizard and switch masking from '0' to '1'
