No GPU though GPU present (1660 SUPER)

    Hello all,

I would like to ask for help.
My GPU is getting detected, however, it is not present in the CUDA section.
Any suggestions would be highly apprcited.
    Running 471.11 driver.

    Hi Kinley,

the device seems to be detected correctly, so it should be used during processing.

Could you post the log of a full reconstruction please? Make sure that the device is listed in the zephyr options under the cuda tab

      Hello Andrea,

Thanks very much for your reply.
      That's exactly the problem:

I have the same issue with Blender and Meshroom, although Blender was working half a year ago.

      Kindest regards

        Hi Kinley,

if zephyr does not recongize the cuda card in that panel (and this seems to be confirmed by the fact that other software has the same issue) it is very likely the problem is system wide.

My suspicion is that you're using a very old driver. You need to update to a driver that supports Cuda 10.4.

First of all, please make sure you're using the latest available version of 3DF Zephyr.

Be aware tat the driver from microsoft may not always be the latest up do date. However, you're saying you're using 470.xx which is certainly supporting Cuda 10.4 runtime.

Your card supports cuda 7.5 capabilities (and Zephyr requires cards with at least Cuda 3 capabilites) so it has to work.

So either this is a problem in your driver (e.g. a partial update, or something is interfering with the driver itself) or an hardware issue.

I'd try completely wiping the driver and reinstalling it. If that doesn't work, I'd try a fresh windows install. If that doesn't work still, then it's likely an hardware problem.
