Thanks for that very comprehensive reponse. I have not been on the forum for a few days so apologies for my delay. There were a couple of things in there that I had missed before so it is really useful. Now it's a matter of practice, practice till I get more proficient .I attach a photo of the finished model - my painting. Many thanks for the help with it.
