I am new to 3DFLOW. I have tried taking 48 picture of a motorcycle tank that is flat black. I can't seem to get the software to work the pictures.
Any suggestions?
Hey Sid! Just saw your support ticket but I'll reply here instead so other people can see too :-)
Photogrammetry works by feature matching, so smooth homogeneous surfaces like this are very difficult to work with. Fortunately there's a very easy solution! If you lightly dust some talcum powder onto the tank (doesn't have to be much) then each of the little talc specs adds another reference point for Zephyr to work with. The results will be far superior with this approach.
