Issues with creating mesh of an item (Warped/messy mesh)

    Hello!

I'm trying to work on getting a 3D scan of an object using photogrammetry, but I'm getting a very messsy and unorganized result:

Name:	image.png
Views:	186
Size:	667.8 KB
ID:	9236?
I'm not sure why 3df Zephyr is making this, but it's causing me great confusion.

I'm using all of the default presets and quality. Does anyone have any tips or help they can provide?

Here is the link for the images I took of the item I'm trying to scan

Hi Nathan.schmerker - Thanks for sharing the source images! This is a case of weak data in, poor result out.

    - Your subject is difficult because it is all one colour and doesn't have much clearly defined surface detail.
    - The photos you are taking are not good enough for successful photogrammetric reconstruction (motion blur, poor coverage, low f/stop etc..)
    - Try and use a DSLR or mirrorless camera instead of a mobile device, this gives you a lot more control and will generally give better results.

I highly recommend that you review our tutorials and documentation: https://www.3dflow.net/technology/do...hyr-tutorials/
